YVNR GDC does not discriminate on any legally documented basis. Identification Policy:

  1. Students of YVNR GDC are required to carry a valid I.D. card with them at all times when they are on campus.
  2. This card must be presented at once when requested by any official of the college.
  3. All students are expected to maintain their I.D. card during all semesters they are enrolled in.
  4. If an I.D. card is lost or stolen, it should be reported immediately to class counselor.
  5. Violation of this policy will result in disciplinary action under the students’ code of conduct.
  6. The students who are studying in this college are instructed to maintain proper dress code.

Timing Policy:

  • As per the UGC guidelines the college has framed it’s timings from 10.00A.M to 5.00P.M.
  • Every period is of one hour duration and the lunch break is also of one hour duration with the timings between 1P.M to 2P.M.
  • Attendance of all students, teaching & non- teaching staff members and Principal is recorded using Biometric Attendance Recorder Machine. There are three Biometric Attendance Recorder machines. All staff members and students are required to mark their attendance twice a day, in the morning when they enter into the college and in the evening while leaving the college premises.
  • Every hour classroom attendance is taken by concerned lecturer by using Integrated Attendance Management System (IAMS) app designed by Government of AP.
  • Staff should be available in the college premises during the entire period of college hours, on all working days.


Discipline Policy:

  • The disciplinary policy at college recognizes the relationship that students have with their individual teachers. Every effort is made by the teacher and student to work together to resolve any problem. There is no discrimination among staff and students in aspects of caste, creed, race and religion.
  • The students are instructed not to bring any cell phone in to the college premises.
  • Students use the chosen student bathrooms properly and help keep them clean and neat.
  • Students are advised to throw the sanitary napkins only in dustbins.
  • Creating a no plastic zone in the college campus.
  • Teaching / Non-teaching Staff are advised not to attend to any calls while in the Class Rooms / Laboratories/Library.
  • No employee is authorized to put up any information (whether written / poster / sign, etc.) on the college notice board, walls, doors, without the prior approval of the head of the institution.


Holidays Policy:

The college follows the rules as per the holiday list announced by Krishna University, Andhra Pradesh.

Infrastructure Development Policy:

The infrastructure development committee will monitor the required infrastructure in various class rooms.

Administration policy:

  • All written or oral communication within the institution will be in Telugu and English
  • All employees shall orally communicate either among themselves or with students in English or Telugu or any other language understood by them.
  • All e-mail, Internet, Fax or other electronic transmissions shall be carried out in English.
  • All staff members of Y.V.N.R.GDC are in college WhatsApp group. Any information concerned to the college may be communicated in this group. Admin of the group is Principal only.
  • All students, teaching and non-teaching and principal are in another WhatsApp group. Any information concerned to the students can be communicated through this group. Admin of the group is office personnel only.

The Employee shall at all times maintain strict confidentiality and secrecy in respect of all the confidential information that he/she may acquire or possess in any manner during the course of his/her employment with Y.V.N.R. GDC and he/she shall not either directly or indirectly use, reveal, copy, duplicate, reproduce, record, distribute, disclose, take photograph in premises of institute  or allow to be divulged or disclosed such confidential information in whole or in part belonging to institute in any form viz. verbal, written, digital, print, electronic, physical etc. to any third party save and except for the purpose of his/her employment with Y.V.N.R. GDC by and under the instructions and after seeking written approval from authorized person of institute. 

Leaves Policy:

The employees are entitled for the following types of leave:

  • Study Leave
  • Sabbatical Leave

  • Extra (5) casual leaves for women.
  • The leave year shall be from January to December.
  • Leave will be strictly monitored and will be granted only if needed.
  • Staff members who are unable to report to work due to exceptional / unforeseen circumstances must send a leave message or inform to the principal before 10.am. Leave information will not be entertained after10.00a.m. and such absence will be treated as unauthorized. 


Commitment Policy:

  • The students and staff are committed to get 100% pass in their respective subjects and departments.
  • Making sure that each student passing out of the institution leaves the campus with a job in his/her hands. 


Research Policy:

            The research policy of the college aims at creating and supporting a research culture among its teachers, staff and students and leverage it for enriching and enhancing the professional competence of the faculty members; for developing and promoting scientific temper and research aptitudes of all learners; for realizing the vision and mission of the college and for contributing to national development by establishing an institutional fund and plan for facilitating their participation in research and related activities and by providing the required resources and appropriate facilities. It also aims at ensuring that the research activities of the college conform to all applicable rules and regulation as well as to the established standards and norms relating to safe and ethical conduct of research. The faculty of the college shall be responsible for implementing this research policy of the college by working closely with the UGC. The specific roles and functions of the faculty to promote research policy are as follows: 

  1. Facilitate themselves in undertaking research and will work with the college management to set up a research fund for providing seed money.
  2. Provide research facilities in terms of laboratory equipment, research journals and research incentives etc. required by the faculty and students.
  3. Encourage and promote a research culture (eg. teaching work load remission, opportunities for attending conferences etc.).
  4. Encourage the faculty to undertake research by collaborating with other research organizations/industry.
  5. Create suitable procedures for giving due recognition for guiding research.
  6. Facilitate the establishment of specific research units/ centers by funding agencies /university.
  7. Prepare budgets for supporting students’ research projects.
  8. Invite industry to use the research facilities of the college and sponsor research projects.
  9. Approach national and international organizations such as UGC, ICSSR, ICHR, ICPR, DST, DBT, UNESCO, UNICEF to fund major and minor research projects undertaken by the faculty /students.
  10. Make efforts to improve the availability of research infrastructure requirements to facilitate research.
  11. Develop and implement an official code of ethics to check malpractices and plagiarism in research.
  12. Facilitate interdepartmental / interdisciplinary research projects.
  13. Institute research awards.
  14. Create incentives for the faculty who receive state, national and international recognition for research contributions as well as research awards and recognition from reputed professional bodies and agencies.
  15. Encourage and promote the publication of research articles by the faculty in reputed/ refereed journals.
  16. Create and maintain a database of research work and research projects undertaken by the faculty and students.
  17. Publicize the research expertise and consultancy capabilities available in the college.
  18. Facilitate the provision consultancy services to industries / government / non- government organizations / community/public.
  19. Prepare rules & guidelines for grant of research related leave and other remissions.
  20. Prepare guidelines for design and evaluation of curriculum oriented research projects.
  21. Prepare student projects every year thus by inculcating research into the minds of students.

Environment Policy:

Protection of health, safety and the prevention of pollution to the environment are primary goals of the Institute. The Institute will strive to develop and provide products and services that have no undue environmental impact and are safe in their intended use, efficient in their consumption of energy and natural resources and can be recycled, reused or disposed of safely.

Mobile phone policy:

The purpose of this policy is to establish clear cut guidelines regarding the usage of mobile phones inside the campus. This policy is applicable to all those who enter the campus. Realizing the importance of communication and the possible impact of mobile phone usage inside the campus, the following guidelines are arrived at.

  1. Students are not permitted to use mobile phones within the campus.
  2. The mobile phones shall be kept in silent mode / off
  3. All the staff members are empowered to confiscate mobile Phones found with students violating the above rules.
  4. Students violating the above rules will be warned
  5. Staff members are allowed to use mobile phones in their respective cabins.
  6. Staff members are allowed to use mobile phone in the classroom for the purpose of taking online attendance only

Formation of Committees Policy: 

  • This policy is framed by the Head of the institution depending on the capability of the individual.


Grievances & Redressal Policy:

  • The purpose of the Grievance / Redressal Policy is to provide equitable and orderly processes to resolve grievances by staff and students.
  • Any grievance in the college is dealt very seriously and addressed at the earliest. 

Procedures and policies for maintaining and utilizing physical, academic, and support facilities - laboratory, library, sports complex, computers, classrooms, etc.

  1. Procedures and policies for maintaining laboratory
  • Stocktaking of all equipment, instruments, glassware specimens, computing devices, etc. is done in all Departments. The annual Stock verification report is submitted to the office for further action.
  • The maintenance of the laboratories under the supervision of in-charges of the departments.
  • Regular maintenance of Fault register and logbooks in all the laboratories and repair works are carried out immediately.
  • The maintenance register is kept in the laboratory.
  1. Procedures and policies for maintaining library
  • The Librarian looks after the maintenance of the library.
  • The library will be open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • The Reading Room will be open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Students can borrow books up to a maximum number of three books.
  • Borrowed books should be returned within 15 days as stamped on the due date slip.
  • Unauthorized removal of books or damaging the property of the library or misbehavior with the library. Staff shall be considered as an act of indiscipline, which will call for strict action and or fine.
  • Books must be returned on or before the due date otherwise the fine of Rs. 0.25 will be charged per day/book.
  • At the time of deposition of late fine, you must collect a receipt for the payment from the library.
  • Absence & illness are not acceptable excuses for exemption from paying overdue charges.
  • If the Due Date falls on a holiday declared by the college, then students may return their books the next week on the scheduled day.
  • Books will not be reissued. Despite repeated reminders, if the book is not returned, the borrowing facility may be withdrawn for a period decided by the authority.
  • Books will be accepted and issued only during the specified schedule of the class.
  • Library follows a closed access system. A copy of each title is available in the reference section. The books in the Reference Library must be handled with care. The reference books are to be used only within the Reference section. Students are advised to leave the reference books on the table itself after use.
  • While entering the library, users must keep all the belongings outside the reading room and the authority will not be responsible for any loss.
  • Students should take care of the cleanliness of the library. Students will only read the newspapers on the newspaper reading stand. Students should not disturb the arrangements of the library furniture.
  • Outsiders are not allowed in the library without the permission of the authority concerned.
  • Silence must be observed on the premises of the library. Mobile use is strictly prohibited in
  • Students can issue 1 extra book for the semester exam after library no The double cost of the book will have to pay if the issued book has been lost.
  • It is mandatory for all members who are using facilities to follow the library rules & regulations. For any dispute or problem, the Librarian may be
  • The annual stock of books, shelves, computers, and other belongings in the library is monitored and maintained in the library stock registers.
  • Library advisory committee is working for maintenance and optional functioning and improvement of facilities provided by the library to different stakeholders.
  • The regular upgrade of journals, e-books, books databases, and other facilities are undertaken by library committee books from time to time.
  • Damaged books are bound, scanned, and digitalized.


All members of the library team are available for any assistance you may need in using the library resources, facilities & services. The library will welcome any suggestion for better use of library facilities.


  1. Procedures and policies for maintaining sports complex
  • The Physical Education Director with the help of the maintenance committee looks after the various courts and sports complexes on the campus.
  • Periodic reporting on the requirement of repairs/maintenance of all sorts can be submitted by students/faculty in the maintenance register maintained in the Dept./ Building. The requirements are collectively processed and placed before the Sports Advisory Committee for necessary action.
  • The maintenance – Supervisor, and team are involved in the maintenance of infrastructural facilities on regular basis.
  • Sports equipment is periodically repaired, and new gears are purchased accordingly maintenance of various grounds/courts / walking Tracks are regularly taken care of by supports staff of the management/institution.
  • First Aid kits are always available for any emergency in the storeroom/building concerned.
  1. Procedures and policies for maintaining computers
  • The inclusive IT policy of the college is to support and facilitate all functions of the college providing Wi-Fi, cyber security, database management, and recovery techniques along with licensed software and updated highly refined services for better performance and flexibility.
  • The lab assistants under the supervision of the system administrators maintain the efficiency of the computers and related accessories in the faculty, wings, labs classrooms, and administrative areas.
  • Proper inspection is done, and verification of stock takes place at the end of every year.
  • AMC is done through external agencies regarding hardware and software installation in labs.
  1. Procedures and policies for maintaining classrooms
  • The H.O.D office is assigned the responsibility of smooth functioning of classrooms.
  • All classrooms are cleaned every day regularly by sweepers.
  • The principal, in-charges of the departments, and Class in-charges also check the cleanliness and certify that the cleanliness is maintained in the classrooms.
  • As most of the classrooms are re-fixed with ICT facilities, the complaint if any may be registered in the complaint book.
  • In case of high priority issue, a person is assigned to the computer lab to take care of these problems on a real-time basis which will not disturb the classwork.
  • In the case of other general maintenance, a problem can be raised in the complaint register which will be rectified with 24 hours.
  • During summer and interim vacations, as assessment of classroom ICT systems and general facilities is evaluated based on which the maintenance works are carried out.
